Hannah, a Leukemia patient, suffered a terrible loss at the hands of a reputable airline. She received the devastating news that her two beloved French Bulldogs did not survive the flight from Dubai to Washington for cancer treatment.
Hannah knew she couldn’t leave her two dogs, Panda and Beluga, behind when she learned her best choice for Leukemia treatment was in the United States. Panda and Beluga were not only her best friends, but Panda also served as her emotional support animal. She couldn’t abandon the dogs because they were her entire world.
During Hannah’s trip preparations with Emirates, she was informed that Panda and Beluga would be unable to fly in the cabin with her since they weighed more than 8 pounds. Despite obtaining medical papers certifying Panda as an emotional support animal, she was told they would fly in a special pet holding area beneath the cabin.
Hannah had no choice but to pay the $2,600 fee to travel her beloved Frenchies in the pet cargo area. This fee covers all mandatory pet checks at all stops, ensuring your pet’s safety during the flight. Unfortunately, Panda and Beluga could never enter the pet safe cargo area.
During their flight, the two Frenchies were placed in the luggage cargo hold rather than the protected pet compartment. Panda and Beluga died from oxygen deprivation because Dubai to Washington was more than 12 hours long. A necropsy confirmed Panda’s cause of death.
Other pets on this flight who were correctly placed in the pet holding area survived the flight unharmed. This shows that if Panda and Beluga had been placed in the safe pet area, they would probably still be here with Hannah today.
Hannah was saddened when she received the bad news upon her arrival in Washington. She is not only bereaved by the loss of her animal companions, but she is also battling cancer. This is just too much burden for anyone to carry.
Hannah has hired the services of an attorney to help her seek justice for the loss of her beloved French Bulldogs. Evan Oshan is determined to fight on Panda and Beluga’s behalf and make certain that this never happens again.
