Humans are surrounded by a large number of other humans. Dogs only have us in their lives, which is why most pet parents, who are preoccupied with their daily tasks, hire a pet sitter to keep an eye on them.

As we go about with our busy lives, most of us have this set up every day as a routine. But has anyone ever considered what dogs are thinking or what occurs when you are out of their sight and smell?

Leaving their four-legged best friends alone at home with a sitter, even for a couple of hours, can feel like an eternity to people who are close to their four-legged best friends. And, without a doubt, your furbabies miss you as much, as evidenced by this sweet story.

Because he had to be away for over two weeks, one man who lives in Guarulhos, Sao Paulo, Brazil had no choice but to leave his dog with a friend. Despite the fact that the dog was not pleased with his current situation, he patiently awaited his owner by becoming a well-behaved doggo himself.

The dog sitter was supposed to pick up the owner ten days after the dog was left with the friend – and what is what he did. Naturally, the dog immediately took the shotgun seat and enjoyed the rolled down windows to gain a better view of the surroundings and sights passing by him.

Upon arriving at the airport, the dog heard that familiar voice calling his name. After gazing around, the dog them spotted that pleasant face he had been hoping to see for many days now. With tail wagging and loud barking as if condemning his master for leaving him alone for days, he leaped out of the vehicle’s window, sprinted, and jumped right into the arms of his very best friend.

They’ve finally been reunited, and the dog is overjoyed to have his best friend right by his side.

I have to be honest here, I have not always loved dogs. When I was a child, all I was taught was how dogs can bite people, but not how helpful they can be. After getting my daughter a puppy, Roscoe, I learned how loving and loyal dogs are. My appreciation and love for dogs have grown over the years, and I enjoy sharing feel-good dog stories. I hope you enjoy my blog:)
