Young Golden Retriever Refuses To Sleep During Scheduled Naptime Because This Hilarious Puppy Thinks He’s The Boss

Young Golden Retriever Refuses To Sleep During Scheduled Naptime Because This Hilarious Puppy Thinks He’s The Boss

AJ Morris May 8, 2021

Growing up meant that we explored, tested, and tried the many interesting aspects of life. While we did, our habits, thoughts, and behaviors were developed.

It’s the same for this adorable Golden Retriever named Leo. By the looks of him, he’s pampered and adored by his hooman family. That kind of coat and that collar just meant this pupper lived like a prince.

There’s no way a regular pup would look as immaculate as our little Leo. This pupper’s different both in privilege and attitude, and we’ll tell you why.

Leo thinks he’s the boss. Nobody tells him when to sleep, where to play, what to eat, and again, when to sleep. It looks like this little dynamo didn’t like being told what to do.

That’s a mighty huge personality for such a small pet, but thus hooligan thinks it’s just well within his rights to be so. After all, they don’t do what he does, so he doesn’t believe that rules apply to all.

We think Leo’s owners are pretty indulgent, considering he’s just a small pupper. They’ll have to train him on the merits of obedience soon because the lack of it might mean problems in the future.

Leo refused to sleep during nap time, and no amount of coaxing and treats could make him sleep. He lays down, but he makes sure that his owners see that his peepers are wide open.

If this rascal’s owners bug him to get some shut-eye, this little one gets up and barks with all his might. They sounded more like squeaks, but to this pet, he felt like he roared.

Leo certainly has healthy self-esteem there, and that’s good. A little training on the merits of obedience, and we’ll have a model dog in training.

Be a good dog, and you will do fine in the future. Cheers, Jumbo!

I have to be honest here, I have not always loved dogs. When I was a child, all I was taught was how dogs can bite people, but not how helpful they can be. After getting my daughter a puppy, Roscoe, I learned how loving and loyal dogs are. My appreciation and love for dogs have grown over the years, and I enjoy sharing feel-good dog stories. I hope you enjoy my blog:)
