Dogs and humans surely share one of the most precious bonds out there. It’s one of life’s greatest gifts and we are uber grateful for it.
Check out this adorable Golden Retriever and his dad. These two are so bonded that dad came up with a non-voice command to get his dog to hug him. The dog’s eager response can only come from a trusting heart full of love and respect for his human owner.
To showcase his pet’s talent, dad tapped his chest twice with both hands. His friend watched on the sidelines as he took a video of the entire thing. Sure enough, there were no words, only that hand tap.
That’s all it took for this golden retriever to come flying and jumping into his dad’s arms. The whole thing was really quick, and to let the audience appreciate the experience, the jump was posted in slow motion.
You could see dad’s open and genuine happiness while he called his dog to come and hug him. You could also see the dog’s eagerness and willingness to obey his dad’s command.
This is the kind of relationship that we dream of for all humans and dogs out there. Together we can live life to the maximum, and at the highest quality.
Having dogs does not only improve our overall emotional and mental well-being. It also teaches us to be caring, empathic, and more loving to those around us.
If you have kids and you want them to be more responsible, get them a dog. Dogs have proven themselves to be the best companions in life, and the best teachers too.
Studies even show that bullied kids do better after getting a dog for a best friend. We hope that the story encourages you to adopt a pet for yourself. Cheers!
