This Rowdy Dog Behaves Better When He’s Around Little Puppies

This Rowdy Dog Behaves Better When He’s Around Little Puppies

AJ Morris February 12, 2023

Introducing two dogs to each other can sometimes be awkward. That often happens when one dog has yet to gain experience socializing with other dogs. Fortunately, awkward interactions don’t usually last too long with dogs because they eventually learn to socialize.

Mack is a pit bull puppy adopted by a woman named Alyssa. When he first arrived at her home, he met another dog named Maya. Their first meeting was awkward but in an adorable way.

Mack was rowdy and wanted to be near the older dog whenever he could. However, since Maya had no prior experience meeting puppies, she was confused and uncomfortable. The two eventually got along, and the older dog learned to be nice to the puppy.

After two years, Alyssa started fostering puppies because she thought Mack was ready to meet new dogs. As expected, the pit bull became a great brother and friend to the new puppies. He experienced what Maya experienced with him in the past.

Mack was also overwhelmed by the puppies’ energy, just like Maya. He didn’t know how to handle the small dogs. Fortunately, he also learned to be kind and enjoy their presence, like what Maya did with him.

Mack became more relaxed and polite after growing up. However, despite growing a significant size, Mack still sometimes acts like a puppy. He often sits on Maya’s back, even if they weigh the same. Fortunately, Maya doesn’t mind him doing that as she still sees him as her younger adorable brother.

Alyssa believes Mack and Maya’s friendship has contributed much to their social skills. They taught each other how to be kind and loving towards other dogs. There’s no doubt that it’s easier to teach a dog manners when they have a companion to learn from.

I have to be honest here, I have not always loved dogs. When I was a child, all I was taught was how dogs can bite people, but not how helpful they can be. After getting my daughter a puppy, Roscoe, I learned how loving and loyal dogs are. My appreciation and love for dogs have grown over the years, and I enjoy sharing feel-good dog stories. I hope you enjoy my blog:)
